It has been just over a year since I launched the new website and after working out the growing pains we now have a great single's resource hub. From dating advice to upcoming events, photos and dating blogs, it is your one stop Single in the City shop!
It has come to my attention over the past year that a more personal blog with insightful musings about the dating scene in the GTA was wanted. Having been in this industry for over ten years, I have many dating diary stories to tell from my own personal experiences and plenty to share from current and past members. I would also encourage you to write in and share your dating stories - good or bad (I promise to keep it anonymous). It is always encouraging for all of us to hear about fabulous first dates and equally encouraging knowing that we are not the only ones who experienced a dating disaster.

Now that September has passed us by, we can now revel in the beauty of the month of October. The leaves are changing, the evenings are crisper and the days are getting shorter - which means longer nights for more fun. Fall; the freshness in the air combined with the anticipation of the holiday season according to scientists, increases our focus, motivation and our sex drive. So don't squirrel out as this isn't Hibernation Season... it's Dating Season! With that in mind, our Single in the City Events are the perfect venues to prove the research to be true.
In light of Halloween, our Horoscope themed Speed dating events are coming up in Oakville at the Dirty Martini on Friday, October 26th and in Toronto at the Church Aperativo Bar on Tuesday, October 30th. And as we all know it is never too early to start thinking about our New Year's Eve plans - more details to come regarding that event soon!
