Dr. Michelle R. Callahan is a developmental psy chologist, relationship expert, and coach. She is a television and media favorite who regularly provides relationship advice on tele vision, talk, reality, news programs, and docu men taries.

Michelle Callahan has been featured or quoted in national and international magazines and newspapers. As a consultant to Fortune 500

companies, Dr. Michelle provides executive coaching, training, and strategic organizational development consulting. As an instructor at the University of Michigan, Dr. Michelle taught introductory and developmental psychology courses.

Dr. Michelle has conducted extensive research on the effects that dating and domestic violence have on the mental health and coping skills of children, adolescents, and adults. She has also researched the risk factors for teen age pregnancy, sexually transmitted diseases, HIV, and AIDS. Her original research has been presented at several national conferences of many professional associations, including the American Psycholog ical Association, the Society for Research in Child De velopment, the Society for Research in Adolescence, and the National Council on Family Relations.

Her research has been published in journals such as The Leadership Journal, American Journal of Public Health, the Journal of Adolescent Research, and Violence Against Women.

Dr. Michelle received her Ph.D. and M.A. in psychology from the Uni versity of Michigan and her B.A. in sociology from Boston College. She was a National Institute of Mental Health Post- Doctoral Research Fellow at Yale University.
