According to the DSM-IV, DID is different from other mental disorders in that it involves a serious traumatic stressor (e.g. witness or experience violence and/or other harmful acts from another human being), two or more distinct personalities, personalities controlling the patient in a serial manner, and abnormally long periods of forgetfulness (Advameg, 2012). At first it seems rather straightforward, but the disorder becomes more complicated as people attempt to debunk myths surrounding DID. Those claiming to clarify the disorder assert that DID is not very rare, does not involve distinct personalities and that therapy does not in fact worsen the disorder (as seen in many cases), among other things. Then, it is sometimes reported that DID can be as simple as behavior patterns and conditions (e.g. self-destructive behaviors, depression, forgetfulness, and PTSD-like symptoms) that signify a temporary "loss" of the self (Tartakovsky, M., 2011).
In CONCLUSION, DID is debatable. I personally believe it is not real, especially the dramatic type as seen in Shinobu Sensui and Hollywood productions. Shinobu Sensui was certainly a tortured, disturbed, and mentally ill character in Yu Yu Hakusho, but he did not have a legitimate case of DID in my opinion. His use of "multiple personalities" was merely a subconscious way to excuse his horrific crimes and preserve his overly black-and-white thinking patterns to the point of twisting them. He may have legitimately been ill with another disorder, such as schizophrenia, but it is difficult to examine a fictional character with limited information. I believe that society should consider this viewpoint on DID, because the media distorts the idea of the disorder (if it is real), misrepresenting the field of psychology in general.

The result is a confusing multitude of leadership grids, charts, formulas, jargon, fads, and buzzwords, with new ones popping up every week. An occupational hazard of this business is that we chase after whats new rather than what works. We look for fashionable rather than enduring principles.
Most of my audiences are very experienced middle to senior managers in medium to large organizations who dont need to be educated or informed as much as they need to reminded, inspired, reinforced, or shown different ways of applying familiar leadership principles.
Historians, anthropologists and scholars of classic literature tell us that there are really quite a small number of recurring stories in the entire history of humanity. Our books and movies provide us with endless variations on the basic stories of the human condition, and the same themes keep showing up in the stories of people and cultures thousands of years or miles apart. Enduring leadership principles are just as timeless. They arent new. It is the timelessness of these principles that prove their value.
Leadership needs management to fly
Both management and leadership are needed to make teams and organizations successful. In building our speaking, consulting, and training businesses, we also need a good balance of both management and leadership. Trying to decide which is most important is like trying to decide whether the right or left wing is more important to an airplanes flight. Ill take both, please!
A classic problem often comes up among entrepreneurial start-up companies with strong vision, passion and energy (leadership), and good technological or technical skills: their poor management discipline or lack of systems and processes lead to errors, poor service quality, and frustration for customers and people in the organization. In building our businesses, we need to couple our passion and creative spirit with disciplined processes and business management.
The leadership wheel
The most common weakness, however, is lack of leadership. Growing our leadership is a dynamic process. It begins at the centre of our being and develops in multiple directions. I use the "hub and spokes" model to depict the timeless leadership principles. (Both Growing the Distance and The Leaders Digest are built around it.)
Each part of the wheel corresponds to an area of leadership. At the hub of the wheel, we have the vision, values and purpose on which leaders effectively focus themselves and their teams or organizations (Focus and Context). Leaders also take initiative and do what needs to be done rather then waiting for someone else to do something (Responsibility for Choices). Leaders are authentic and lead by visible example, fostering openness and continuous feedback (Authenticity). Leaders are passionate and build strong commitment through involvement and ownership (Passion and Commitment). Leaders lead with heart and rouse team or organizational spirit (Spirit and Meaning). Leaders help people grow through strong coaching and continuous development (Growing and Developing). Finally, leaders energize people by building strong teams, inspiring and serving (Mobilizing and Energizing).
The leadership wheel model provides a metaphor for situations we face at personal, team or organizational levels. For example, just as a wheels weight-bearing ability depends upon the strength of its hub, so does the strength of our hub determine the weight of the performance and change issues that we are able to carry.
The wheel also represents the circular nature of leadership: there is no beginning or end. All the supporting leadership principles around the outside of the Leadership Wheel are interdependent and interconnected. If we, our team or our organization develop these leadership skills, the wheel is well rounded. If we are deficient in one or more of these skills, the ride might be a little bumpy.
A key part of our continuous leadership quest is finding the approaches that fit our individual values, personality and style. No one leadership size fits all. It is like trying to find a path in a field of newly fallen snow. Once we walk across the field, we have discovered our path.

Meta-Programs are individual patterns through which we experience the world. There is so much information available that we simply cannot take it all in and so we choose what fits with our personal experience. For example, think of a glass full of water and imagine drinking half of it. Some people will say that the glass is now half full, some, half empty. Essentially, some people notice what is positively there, others what is missing, and both ways of looking at things are useful. Most people tend to favour one way or the other.
First notice by Richard Bandler and John Grinder through behavior and then Lesley Cameron Bandler organized them so we could do something with them.
There are many categories of meta-program and it is useful to spend some time thinking about your own language and view of the world. You will probably have preferred ways of doing things, or sometimes you may behave a certain way in a particular situation, and differently in another. The following categories are particularly relevant when considering what language to use to influence people. If you use the same or similar language you will be matching their Meta-Programs.
Couple of examples of would be:
TOWARDS - AWAY FROM
* Towards people are motivated to achieve goals - attain, obtain, have, get, achieve
* Away From people are motivated to solve or avoid problems - avoid, get away from, solve, prevent
TOWARDS CHARACTERISTICS:
* Has clear goals, is motivated to get or to have things, to achieve, to attain
* Moves towards what they like/want
* Prioritises things
* Has trouble recognising what should be avoided
* Often ignores negative consequences and fails to notice details going wrong
* Motivated by incentives or "carrot".
TOWARDS LINGUISTIC INDICATORS:
* Talk about gaining, achieving, accomplishing, obtaining, having, getting. Tell you what they want
* Talk about things, people or situations they want to include.
AWAY FROM CHARACTERISTICS:
* Easily recognises what should be avoided
* Moves away from, steers clear, avoids, gets rid of things they don't like or want
* Motivated by threats or "stick"
* Has a tendency to focus on problems and what can, has, or might, go wrong
* Has trouble working with priorities
* Has difficulty formulating objectives.
AWAY FROM LINGUISTIC INDICATORS:
* Talk about what they don't want, and what they don't want to happen
* Talk about situations to be avoided, people and things to be exclude. Tell you what they will stay away from, get rid of, avoid.
INTERNAL - EXTERNAL
* Internal people set their own standards and decide for themselves - 'I'm satisfied, I know when I have done a good job, only you can decide'
* External people take external standards to decide whether they have done a good job - 'I need feedback, so and so thinks, others will notice, my clients are pleased'.
INTERNAL
Provide their own motivation from within and they decide on the quality of their work.
INTERNAL CHARACTERISTICS:
* They often have difficulty in accepting negative feedback and will often question the opinion or judge the person giving the feedback
* Tend to rely on their own criteria, evaluations, and judgements as validation and the source of authority and evidence come from the inside
* Evaluate things on the basis of what they think is appropriate
* Use their own feelings to know what they think is appropriate
* Use their own feelings to know that they have done a good job
* Evidence comes from the inside for verification and validation of how they have done and how they are doing
* Decide that they have done a good job based on their own subjective criteria
* Provide their own motivation
* Are convinced when you appeal to things they already know through their own experience.
INTERNAL LINGUISTIC INDICATORS
* o Tell you what they decide
* o They will say that they just know it. "It feels right". "I feel it inside". "I decide". "I feel satisfied about it"
* o They resist when someone tries to tell them what is right for them or when someone tries to decide for them.
EXTERNAL
When people are using "External Reference" they rely on other people's evaluations and judgements. The source of authority and evidence comes from external sources. They use external standards and feedback to develop their own opinions. Validation is sought from the outside, and via external approval.
EXTERNAL CHARACTERISTICS:
* Require direction from other people
* Tend to draw conclusions based primarily on the other person's reactions
* Let other people make decisions about what to do and how to do it
* Have to ask other people what they think of their work. They rely on others to tell them when they've done a good job (use the other person's criteria)
* Find out what they should do by asking other people
* Conform to other people's beliefs.
EXTERNAL LINGUISTIC INDICATORS
* They tell you that they know something because other people or outside information and/or external sources tell them
* For example "someone has to tell me". "My friends tell me". "I get a reward". "The facts speak for themselves". "This is the way it is"
* They may describe incoming information as if that information is a decision
* They often respond to a suggestion, query or an idea as though it were an imperative, an order, or a decision.

I have written about Fritz Springmeier many times in passing. He has appeared at least once on this blog ("Al Gore and the Suitcase of Blood"), several times on Swallowing the Camel, and quite a few times on blogs dealing with "Satanic panic".
It would be exhausting and rather pointless to detail his entire career here, but if you're unfamiliar with Springmeier, here are some details you may want to know:
* Born in 1955, he used the name Victor Earl Schoof until legally changing it to Fritz Springmeier in 1987.
* He says he attended West Point, but did not.
* He professes to be a very religious man, and once ran a sort of Christian lay ministry (he is not an ordained minister, and does not have any theological training).
* In 1997 he allegedly circulated a strange "affidavit", accusing several other Christian ministers, including Alex Jones's mentor Texe Marrs, or trying to sabotage this ministry. "Several people have told me my ex-wife is controlled by demons and given her life to Satan," he wrote of his second wife, Gail.
* To his mind, every religious tradition outside of the Judeo-Christian is basically Satanism. This includes ancient Egyptian beliefs, Theosophy, and any form of occultism. Oh, and Jehovah's Witnesses. And the Catholic Church. Ina 1996 Prophecy Club lecture, Springmeier said every human on Earth is tracked from birth to death by Jesuit priests.
* His conspiracy writing and lectures have been a huge influence on David Icke. Much of Springmeier's misinfo has made it into Icke's books. For example, the Belgian castle called Chateau Amerois is referred to by both Springmeier and Icke as the "Mothers of Darkness" castle, in which the elite hold ghastly Satanic rituals and slaughter children.
* In the early '90s, he became deeply interested in the subject of government mind control programs, and trained himself to be a deprogrammer of women who allegedly survived "Project Monarch", a supposed offshoot of MK-ULTRA*. He ended up leaving his second wife and young son for one of these women, Cisco Wheeler. Together they authored books and gave lectures on Illuminati mind control techniques. Their best-known work is the massive book The Illuminati Formula Used to Create an Undetectable Mind Controlled Slave.
* Cisco Wheeler, like all alleged Monarch victims, was deliberately programmed to have multiple personalities (Dissociative Identity Disorder). One of her alter personalities was a cat.
* Springmeier's take on history is, um, creative. In the Prophecy Club lecture cited above, he declared that Hitler was descended from the Rothschilds. You'll see more of his unique interpretations of history later in this post.
* He really, and I mean really, hates The Wizard of Oz. He's convinced it's a Satanic parable used in the mind control programming and ritual torture of young children. He thinks the same of every film, book, and TV show that appears to reference Oz in any way (for instance, the movie K-Pax).
* In his book Bloodlines of the Illuminati, Springmeier attempted to identify the 13 families that have controlled the world for centuries. His M.O. was to tick off lists of prominent people with the same last name, without bothering to ascertain if they were actually related to one another, then link them to the Illuminati by the most tenuous connections. For example, reporter Robert Collins was implicated simply because he had the surname Collins and because the Illuminati "control the press" (Springmeier provided no evidence that the Illuminati does, in fact, control the press). Likewise, he tied serial killer Ted Bundy to the Bundy/McBundy families, and explained that his sadistic sociopathic condition is quite typical of Illuminati members, even though Bundy's name came from a working class stepfather.
* In the '80s, he vociferously defended "former Illuminati member" John Todd long after Todd's stories were shown to be fraudulent. The late Mr. Todd was a "Christian" con artist posing as a former Satanist. He was also a convicted rapist. Though he had a long history of complaints against him for propositioning teenage girls, and faced related criminal charges several times, Springmeier insisted that Todd's rape conviction was a frame-up by (who else?) the Illuminati. At one point, he even claimed that Todd had been abducted from prison and murdered by Illuminati agents in 1994. This was not true. Todd was released from prison in 2004, was remanded into custody as a dangerous sex offender, and died a natural death three years later. Now, Springmeier uses the same cry of frame-up in reference to his own criminal activities.
* In their book Deeper Insights Into the Illuminati Formula, Springmeier and Wheeler state that the Illuminati has been creating "synthetic humans" (made partly from cows) since the 1970s.
* In 2001, he and his third wife, Patricia, were arrested for having a marijuana grow op in conjunction with a white supremacist, Forrest E. Bateman, Sr. Bateman was convicted in 1989 of racially intimidating a high school student in Forest Grove, Oregon, and three years later he appeared on the state police's Ten Most Wanted list for firearm offenses and assault connected to skinhead activities. And now we get to the heart of the matter...

Good men are, quite frankly, a dying breed. You know this because not a day goes by without some liberal, female, or Millennial (sometimes all three) columnist writing about the dearth of Good Men available. The Manosphere answered that question long ago: they were there in your twenties, working, and looking for some girl to marry. Women are positively glacial in coming to the horrific realization that for most of the best years of their lives they overlooked them in favor of a quick nail-n-bail with the silver-tongued, tatted-up local. They usually crash into the truth right around their thirties when they've moved past/used up the most desirable years of their lives. Blazing a trail of used condoms, dried up tears, and abandonment is a wonderful way to spend one's youth, isn't it? The deception involved in convincing almost the entire female population of the West that they're supposed to be as openly sexual as possible is a work of mad genius in that it ensured only the alphaest of men would get laid with depressing ease. Sure, not all women are like that, but that's irrelevant since not every man can now have a decent woman.
Quite frankly, there's been a genocide committed against 'good men'. Since women are largely the gatekeepers of sex (explained: men want sex more than women, ergo, women have the upper hand. simple economics, to put it mildly.), men respond to changes in women's desires. If the bulk of women like men that don't wear jeans, then men will respond by not wearing jeans. The herd instinct is powerful for men and nearly indomitable for the average woman. Men can set the standard for what women desire, in a sense, but that is only if men are the ones with their hands on the cultural levers of power in a nation. Men have not been that way since the Sexual Revolution of the 1960s and 1970s, so women set the tastes and men respond in kind. Women have been told to be as promiscuous as possible since it's their right to do so, but since women do not often choose to override their hypergamous instincts they still want to sleep with the best man they can find.
What this has lead to is the douche-baggiest of men getting the most women during the prime of their lives, while the average (majority) man is scheduled to work his ass off during his twenties until his value takes a dramatic rise when he hits his early 30s. It's only then that he becomes desirable to women, not the least because he's established, has a job, a home, and a steady income. By that point, however, he doesn't want to date women his age, he wants younger women because it's what he can get.
Women his age are absolutely, frothing-at-the-mouth furious that he goes after younger women, solely because they cannot compete with them. Women in their 30s do not have the advantage that married-young women have, namely, the "love goggles effect". Men who marry women when they're at their absolute hottest will always see them that way, excluding radical changes in appearance like massive weight-gain, facial tattooes, or shaved heads. Women who are in their 30s and unattached are seen exactly as they are: in terminal decline. Women in their 20s are at their peak attractiveness, and also at their most sexually powerful. Men in their 30s are at their physical, financial, and mental peaks, which means they are at their most powerful. The Great Reversal takes place around the age of 30, and women handle it with customary grace and serenity that we've expected of them...LOL! The only reason that men have not unilaterally gone into full-on asshole mode is that they are still being raised to be "nice guys".
If parents informed young boys and men of the nature of the modern young, liberated female, feminism would collapse overnight. The about-face of modern men would trigger a cultural windstorm that would sweep feminism off the face of America for good, at which point modern women would decide that they really do want men to marry them and not just use them for an evening of fun and then disappear. Unfortunately, by that point, those men would not only not commit, they would avoid girls even looking for commitment. That reality is not the one we live in....yet.
One of the other downsides to feminism is that it has infected the churches with ideological poison, ensuring that they rot from within until they're powerless to reform or effect society in any meaningful way. Men are slowly waking up across the country and realizing that the sham they've been dealt is not one they have to live with. For commitment-oriented men, they're abstaining from marriage in their 20s until they're older, more secure, and able to date younger women than their peers. For men not interested in commitment, there's always Game or lots of alcohol. Usually both. Women have made it all-too-clear that they are simply not after the good men that are available, they would much rather a man who embodies the ideal they've been brainwashed into believing is their birthright. Even the nicest of them crave men who are not good if it means they're not "boring". The time for committment is only as a last-resort and one of desperation, but by then they usually have to truly settle for the bottom-of-the-barrel types that they would never have approached in their prime. Unattached, men become picky with age, and women become desperate. Because they can....and because they have no choice, respectively.
The Good Man genocide is currently underway and will reach fruition when the Millennials have attained adulthood and the generation after them is on the rise. This is, of course, if society does not undergo a fundamental transformation thanks to the severity of a devastating crisis; that is the scenario I am expecting rather than the sexual dystopia I've been writing about. Women have spent their capital in ways not beneficial to anyone but the alphas, for alphas grow desirable with each conquest whereas women grow less desirable. This is due to the rule that a man who has been with many women has been thoroughly vetted and found desirable by The Herd, as opposed to a man who cannot easily get with a woman is clearly undesirable, as per The Herd's omnipotent strangehold over the young woman's mind. Women who have a low or non-existent notch count are desirable because it means men get to be the first, they're not being compared to previous lovers, and they can trust her. Certainly, men that are polygamous or who have a history of cheating on their lovers are not trustworthy either, but that's not the point. Those men aren't likely to commit anyway, but almost every woman wants marriage regardless of how she spends her 20s.
The fact of the matter is this: Women unintentionally cripple their ability to get married by acquiring a high notch count in their 20s, as the men their age see them correctly for the used-up tramps that they are. Who wants a used car with 170,000 miles and two accidents when you can get a new or barely-driven one instead?
Where have all the good men gone? On with the rest of their lives, perhaps to someone that respects them and loves them. In either case, the aging feminist or promiscuous former cutie is left behind wondering why she is no longer able to attract a man by simply flicking her hair. The answer is simple: the good men grew up and went on to other things, while she stayed Forever 21 until she couldn't any longer. The agony single men in their 20s feel last a brief time, but that of the unattached woman in her 30s lasts, most likely, for the rest of her life. Some would say this is unfair, but actions have consequences, and effect succeeds cause, meaning that when you use yourself up and brazenly ignore/mock desirable men in your youth, you have gotten exactly what you wanted, which is to remain outside committment. Oh sure, that's not REALLY what she wanted. She wanted the millionaire handyman to sweep her off her feet once she's aged out of the sexual marketplace, but as most thinking adults would agree, it's not smart to bet your livelihood on the lottery. And wasting the prime of your life fulfilling Phase One of the plan on the one in a billion chance you'll actually meet said millionaire is a fool's game.
But nobody said these people were bright, only that they were easy.
