What one couple might think is a romantic getaway-say Hawaii-another considers dull and boring. Romantic is truly in the mind of the beholder. So first decide what turns you on most: beaches, mountains, city or country. I'd recommend Turks & Caicos, a Caribbean island, for the couple who likes sea, sand, sun, and serenity, not to mention delicious food. Amanyara is one of the most luxurious resorts on the island, where you stay in your own private, beautifully-appointed villa and dine right at the resort. There are no distractions, so you can concentrate on romance 24/7.
If seduction and sand don't tickle your fancy, nothing comes close to Paris for pure romance. Hands down, it's the most beautiful city in the world. YANGSHUO
A county in Guilin, Guangxi Province, China, surrounded by karst peaks and bordered on one side by the Li River and situated on a small plain between a numbers of karst peaks, it is easily accessible by bus or by boat from nearby Guilin. Two main roads run away from the water and form the central part of the town, Chinese Street and West Street. Over the years, it has become popular with foreign backpackers. And most foreign-oriented businesses, such as hostels, hotels, rock climbing companies, restaurants and entertainment venues, are situated on West Street or the pedestrian-only Xian Qian Street which runs between Chinese and West Streets.
ATTRACTIONS OR ACTIVITIES ESPECIALLY FOR COUPLES
1. - "Li River Cruise"
Feeling the fresh air and tender breeze, cruising along the Li River between Guilin and Yangshuo is an unforgettable experience. There's surprise waiting for you at almost every bend in the river as you take in the stunning scenery. Between spectacular limestone peaks, you'll see graceful bamboo groves, rice paddies cared by local farmers, and lumbering water buffaloes pulling carts or cooling off in the river, where the fishermen gliding along on their narrow bamboo rafts. If lucky, you might see the amazing fishing hunting scene made by the famous cormorants (a trained fish-catch bird). Boats depart from various wharves, according to the height of the river at different seasons.
2. - "Yangshuo Countryside Cycling"
Take your lover out to escape onto the country roads, lanes and tracks of the Yangshuo countryside. Alongside the paddy field and orchards surround the famous mountains, such cycling tour with your loved one will bring a fascinating insight into China's rural life.
First cycling TO THE DRAGON BRIDGE, take a close view of the ancient villages, real countryside flavor and the marvelous Yulong River. Through the rocky paths and paddy fields, to the 400 year old Dragon Bridge, you can swim and take photos as you like around such peaceful and poetic scenery. Usually, this is the first dock to take bamboo rafting when you cruising the Li River.
Then, you can cycle to THE MOON HILL. When arrive at the gate to Moon Hill Park. Leave the bike inside the gate and climb to the top. This hill is so named for a wide, semicircular hole (natural arch) through the hill, all that remains of what was once a limestone cave formed in the phreatic zone. It's worth visiting if you'd like to see the amazing views surrounded. Do take along your camera, not to miss every romantic moment! Then you can continue to explore the countryside views and villages just behind the Moon Hill including the Moon Hill Village.
The last stop is the FULI TOWN, an ancient town, but not big. Cycling with the fantastic views along the way, breathe the fresh air wind takes from the hyaline and green Li River, marvelous peaks & rice fields, etc. Get through the rice paddies, meet the Camel Crosses River, go along the big roads and pass through some villages, you will see the Li River, cycle following Li River you will see some local farmer restaurants just by the Li River, then get to the Dutou Village which is on other side of river and Fuli Town is in your view. If possible and lucky, you can see the local market, a local village bazaar.
