1. HE BEGINS TO LIE. Okay, this one is so obvious we had to get it out-of-the-way early on.
2. THERE IS A DROP-OFF IN PHYSICAL CONTACT. He doesn't hug, kiss, embrace, hold or cuddle you like he used to. He especially does not show you this kind of affection in public any more, since someone might seem him. When you ask to be shown this kind of affection, you can tell he now only does these things out of necessity, not desire.
3. HE BEGINS TO FIND REASON WHY HE CAN'T SPEND TIME WITH YOU. In the beginning, you couldn't keep him away! Now, you can't keep him around.
4. MONEY IS BEING SPENT AND YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT IT IS BEING SPENT ON. Perhaps your guy is buying presents for someone else or paying expenses to woo another woman. The money to do that has to come from somewhere. Follow the paper trial.
5. HE SUDDENLY CARES MORE ABOUT HOW HE LOOKS. Even if was never a slob, there will be a renewed and much deeper interest in making sure he is perfectly presentable... especially whenever he is away from you for any length of time.
6. YOU WILL SEE A SEVERE INCREASE IN HIS EGO. As the thought of pursuing another woman begins to be within their grasp, men become confident they can do this. This vote of self-confidence will even spill over into times when they aren't on the prowl.
7. HIS HISTORY SHOWS HE IS CAPABLE OF CHEATING. This could mean he has either cheated in the past on you, or cheated on someone else with you. An old rule of thumb is if he cheats with you then he is more likely to cheat on you.
8. HE COMES FROM A CHEATING FAMILY. If his parent or parents cheated, then he will likely use this to help justify cheating. Parents are a tremendous influence, even when they do wrong. Kids will try to use this to their advantage.
9. HIS ATTITUDE TOWARDS THE TWO OF YOU AS A COUPLE HAS CHANGED. Instead of talking about the two of you and your goals and plans, he stays away from those conversations. He doesn't feel he can invest any more in a relationship that is likely to end... so why bother talking about it?
